MK3 Coilovers

Just wondering what coilovers people are running and also Polo coilovers fit dont they?? what model Polo is it??

Has anyone had any problems running too low etc etc

any pics of lowness would be nice

I just done a major searching session on this

Found that the only coilover kit to fit is the MK3 6k2 kits as other kits either fit the front and not the rear or visa versa

I think reuvers is using a mk2 6k ibiza kit but he is using mk2 topmounts also I think.

As for lowering issues, I can barely get in my drive now, when its lowered I wont be able to unless I reverse up so will have to address this somehow

I was going to go KW V1s but as im not going to be doing many trackdays I've decided on the Weitec GT Hicon kit.

Bargin from DPM atm

I cant adjust my drive as im only renting the house

ooo, what are the Weitec coilovers like? heard good reports about them before. Are they quite stiff? Are the dampers adjustable?
How low do they go compared to the Ap's?

adam180 on here have slammed his 120mm on the hottuning kit form ebay i think.
i have fk koingsport with adjustable koni shocks

The Weitec's quote up to 65mm but they do drop in lower in reality. I'd say the best value for money coilover kit available at the moment with the special offer we have them at.

Ive got AP's...

Its a nice ride they firm but not crashy...Quality was good with them aswell and they not that exensive either.

i'v got a weitec half an half kit, coils on front, shocks and springs on rear. love it but will be swapping for full weitec coils when i can afford it!!!!

With the Weitec's on special at the moment it would be a much better choice to go for them as they'll work out at a couple of pound more then the AP's.
