Mk4 Brake Hoses 312mm

Just had 312 brake upgrade done, the new TT hoses I supplied do not fit! They had to put the Ibiza ones back on. I know this makes it quite tight but is it acceptable? Provided I check them regularly? Otherwise does anyone have a link or can recommend hoses that definitly fit a Mk4 tdi FR but are slightly longer than OEM. Cheers

That's interesting. I've read elsewhere on the forum that they do fit. I've just received some today and they've still got the original TT hoses on that I was thinking of using.

I've also heard that people have used the original hoses without any problems.

Do they look tight on full lock?

i still have TT hoses from upgrading my previous A3 (8L)

They did not fit that - i used Std hoses when upgrading the Mk4.

Fit no bother at all.

They look long enough to me, theres no slack, but there also not tight. Might jst lube em up round the grommit and keep a beady eye on them.

The TT hoses do fit, you just have to rotate them a little so the notch lines up in the bracket.

Standard hoses are fine, you can pull them through a little more if required.
