Thanks for the positive remarks guys.
My main issue was getting something that not everyone has and i think ive scored. Not sure ive ever seen those wheels in that colour on a Toledo. They seem to have changed the look of the car completly!

Ive washed the car and waxed the wheels so ill try and get some decent pics when the sun finially decides to stop playing hide and seek with the clouds.

I doubt they'll look anything like mine. Dont yours have a polished lip?
Went down the road today to get a few more pics, they really show off the fact that the wheels are pretty shiny!

Thanks mate, thinking of possibly a black roof and mirrors

I was considering this too.... It is very popular on the golf scene... I wanted wheels with anthracite centres and polished lips. Then I was going to have the roof done in anthracite vinyl. If I did vinyl and it looked bad, or I got bored, then at least it is easily removable..

My plan was to go for the vinyl so that it would be easilly taken off. I would want to do a vinyl somethin close to my wheels. Its only going to cost me 20 quid for the vinyl so im thinkin what the hell.

Wheels look good, never been convinced by dark wheels on a light coloured car but yours looks spot on! (although I think I prefered the BK299s)

I dont see why people liked the old wheels. lol they were awful. They looked okay from a distance but the spokes were crap looking and so was the condition! they were knackerd!

I'm really liking the idea of a vinyl roof or even a chequered roof, say black and dark grey - i'm sure i've seen someones silver Leon on here with a chequered roof and it looks good imo

I got a quote from the vinyl guy who does the signs for work but he wanted £100.... He did say this was for proper external grade which will not shrink like the cheaper stuff....£100 is a bit much to say I might not like it...

The £100 included fitting although you can get loads of different roof vinyls for the new mini's on ebay for £30..... Might try something a bit different.... If I get time as decorating and visiting my dad in hospital at the moment so just no time...:(

Hey sorry to change the subject but im new to this and have just bought a 06 plate 2.0 leon fr tdi, im looking to change the lights to hids but dont want to pay for the conversion kit so happy just to get the upgraded lights ( not hids but brighter than standard halogen) is this illegal, i seen ones in halfords which seem pretty legal but dont want to put them in and get 3 points???

Well after having the lowering springs out of the car since just after i bought it, I thought it was about time they went back in. So spent last weekend putting the springs in the car. What a difference in how it looks. Wasnt fussed on the wheels i had when on stardard suspension, but i really like the way they look now.

 i thought you spent the afternoon smoking while watching me and matt fitting the springs :p
