Hi All Little update on the Cupra have recently purchased these mats for her. They are a perfect fit and are a very high quality. They won't be to everyone's taste but I like them.

Fitted:

On to more exciting things now.Over the past few weeks I've been thinking long and hard on where to go with the car as I'd kind of come to a halt. So after much coming and going with what I want I've made my decision to sell it.............. Ha ha only joking the truth is she is going stage2+ :p

So my latest purchase was the Rs4 fuel pressure valve

My next part was kind of back to square one lol in the form of this.

Fitted:

Next on the list will be a Loba hpfp,

Then she will be getting this custom welly cooler fitted at dynodaze it's a toyosports cooler and has been proven well into 400+ bhp so will easily cope with 2+ power and will work very well. Its custom as it won't be fitted with the usual silicone hoses like most use. This will have solid pipe work.

Main benefit of this is it will have less bends than using hoses as it will be made to fit the car and take the straightest route possible and will flow better.
Whilst the car is in bits I'm having an AC delete and the inlet manifold removed for a valve clean. This then got me thinking whilst the manifold is off why not get the runner flap delete mod done so that's what will happen.

Really looking forward to her next chapter as I've gotten used to how she is now so it will be a completely different animal once all of the above is done and then she goes back to R-Tech for the 2+ map to be done.

Thank you for looking ;)
A lot of work mate, looking good though. ;)

Same cooler as me although i have silicone and hard pipes, would be good if dynodaze could make a solid pipework kit i would defo buy one.
Your love the installment of the hpfp it makes the car feel so much more positive well it did for me anyway the ic on the other hand i felt nothing but then i didnt expect to anyway.
Get yourself one of the Rtech full pcv delete kits if they still do them to stop all that gun k from clogging your valves up again.

Can't wait buddy should be great once it's all done,He said it would be near impossible to sell them as a kit because there would still be lots of work involved.Been looking at the pcv delete and will get either the Revo or the R-tech.Need to speak with Niki as I hear it's a bad idea to completely remove the breathing action.

Revo kit doesn't remove it but will allow the gasses etc through the turbo. But as the R-Tech is a complete delete there kit doesn't and will therefore stop them clogging anywhere near as bad.what ever he says I will fully trust as he knows everything about these engines.

Where are the mats from? Not sure on the red though. As long as you like them.

They were off ebay buddy I'll try and find the sellers name and will pm you ;)

A lot of work mate, looking good though. ;)

Cheers Andy yes it's a fair bit but think it will be worth it

What power you looking at for stage 2+?

Like the mats though Craig. Have you fitted the clips to the carpet too?

Cheers Dan,Well the max it will produce will be 375bhp and 400ftlb . This obviously depends on the hardware being up to the task. Having done endless research on this I believe everything that I've got or will be getting is just that.

Plus it's down to the engine and what condition it's in,she made great figures on stage one with a panel filter so hopefully will see somewhere around the above.

There was already clips on the floor so it was just a case of clipping them in mate and makes a huge difference as the old mats didn't have the holes to locate them so you ended up re-positioning them all the blooming time

Liking the new addition to the beauty Craig mate! Loved the cheeky "late April fools" joke of selling lmfao!

It's great to hear you're going to Stage 2+, how's the feel of the new carpets? I've not got none yet as I normally do without them but seeing quite a few people having carpets haha!

All in all though really love the updates, I personally like that red myself! :)

Hi lads, Sorry for the lack of updates got a few more bits lately

First off I've got the parts needed for a new oil pickup pipe just need to get the gasket sealant ready to do the job next weekend

Also purchased another part towards going 2+ in the form of a RFD kit from creation motor sports. Very happy with it and for the cost compared to the APR version it's a no brainer really.

Also changed the colour of my front and rear badges from black to white.Think it looks much better than before and happy with the results.

Looking good! I had to google RFD ....lol

Cheers mate ;) ha ha yeah I was the same first time I'd seen it. Very good mod for the tfsi but a bitch of a job as its inlet manifold off time.

Silver lining is whilst it's off I will clean the valves at the same time and fit the R-tech pcv delete kit to stop carbon build up.

Iv just upgraded my front brakes to Brembo 4 pots, highly recommended if your still rocking the standard stoppers and pushing more power.
The make heel toe down shifts a lot smoother too,but the sheer stopping power over the standard brakes is comical, theymlook the nuts too:)

They look smart them mate proper job [B)]

Looks good with the white badges Craig. Did you think about doing the Cupra badge white?

Cheers Dan hope you are good mate, did think about it but i like the Cupra in black as it stands out more.

Glad you are back Craig, think the Cupra badges should stay as they are, don't want too much white.

Thank you mate hopefully i can get on the forum more now as I've just not had much free time of late.

I've another few parts on the way towards her next upgrade so will post picks once they arrive :p

Doing my pickup pipe tomorrow so will put up some pics and report back how it goes. Hopefully all should be fine and I don't come across any gremlins haha.

So yesterday went over to a friends house and we did the oil pickup pipe.

This is what it looked like once we removed the sump :)

As you can see it is very clean and i was pleased to see it like that as it tells me the engine is in good order and well maintained. Since the last oil change she's done just over 8k and you can see it was due some fresh putting in.

This is what we used to clean the sump and also the gasket maker.

After some elbow grease and ensuring the sump was free of and bits of old gasket on the mating face of the sump and block. This is how she looked about ten mins before I threw the towel in on cleaning it up lol

All in all it was a worth while exercise as regardless of how the old pipe was she now has a new one with fresh millers nanodrive and new oil filter. So I'm not going to be worrying if that dreaded oil pressure light will come on :p

As always thanks for looking any comments welcome good or bad.

Good to see some forward progress.
Is that water in with the oil in your sump as it looks that when from the pictures?
Have you decided what way your going now with tuning? Im guessing your going stage two plus by the fact you have the rs4 fprv and the rfd delete kit.
Im going for stage two at aks this month but i forgot to get the fprv so i fitted that the weekend just gone but i went for the 155 bar fprv purely because i want to eventually go for the tte420 even thogh im feel happy at stage one i still dont think stage two plus will be enough.

No water in it mate it will be the carb cleaner, yes going 2+ buddy it would be a shame not to now haha.Waiting on another couple of parts that will help towards flow when it's time for mapping.

Thought about big turbo for mine but in all honesty without buying a lsd it would be really hard to fully enjoy in a fwd having over 400 bhp.

Hey Craig long time no speak! :O

Man, I absolutely love your car to bits, it's a beauty each time I see the picture and the white badge makes it look so much nicer than the black one, I'd definitely keep the CUPRA badge as is, because I personally feel it would make it look like the front did before you changed the badge to white, all in all it's a good balance as it is! :)

I'm going to have to look up this RFD as I've no idea myself either lmfao! XD

Keep up the good work mate, always nice to see updates on this! :)
