Well after a nice holiday last week popping in at Jabba sport on the thursday. What a job they did. Reccomend them to anyone. alot better than a revo map imo. the car now makes 230BP and 300+Lb/ft TQ. :D Michael spent 7 hours with it on the rollers. Big thanks to them all there. The trip home was ace just putting the foot down and hearing the turbo suck you'd think any birds going by would disappear through the intake haha.

Ok Not updated here in a while. I have just fitted a 50mm drop H&R sport cup kit instead of my crappy coilies. poly bushed front wishbones (Thanks to Chambers_cupra on here) and also fitted a neuspeed 25mm Front arb with adjustable drop-links.

What a difference.

Any way here is a couple of pics on the way down to Crail yesterday. i ran a 14 sec dead on the 1/4 mile. Need more grip of the line and i think a wot box is needed also :D

Lovely car.. Got a soft spot for red cars in general so very keen on this. Got a few questions.. what did you wrap the seat badges with front/back? Did the de-cat make much difference in noise or performance as i'm looking to do that to mine? Currently running a power flow mild steel system but its cat back so depending on wonga I might replace the lot for a stainless note but for now i'm thinking of a decat!

Looks tIdy as mucka

Been looking for this to check it out! :)

Glad they fit alright

How you liking the neuspeed arb?

Yeah chears bud they fit fine and the Neuspeed ARB makes one hell of a difference :) handles like a dream now :)

Only thing now is i think the TQ of the car has knackered the engine mounts as i'm getting a knock everytime i change gear. GGrrr. so some uprated mounts will be going on over winter when i change my rods and valve stem seals.

Cheers bud. I used 3M carbon vinly off fleebay. had some spare stuff kicking around at a mates. so dunno which seller he bought it off. Plans are to do bits on the dash any where the black vinly is at the rear of the door on the outside.

Well my thing isn't decatted its got a 200 cell sports cat. but the answer to your question is that the 3" (or 2.5") downpipe is a must sports cat or decat you still notice a huge difference. mine has a custome powerflow 3" downpipe to a 200 cell sports cat. then 2.5" straight through to a supersprint back box. due to the supersprint back box the car is still quite quite when sitting but when you hit boost its just lovely :D

Ok so on monday night at 30mph in 4th gear my clutch decides to pack in.

My plans have been brought forward a month so Engine and box now all out the car. Found the rear driverside engine mount f**ked so full set of uprated mounts on the cards also now.

Umm well nee clutch and fly gonna go for southbend setup. Umm ie rifle drilled rods new piston rings valve stems the whole works really :). All the aircon now removed.

Anyone know how to remove the aircon part in the bulkhead under the header tank. I have disconnected the pipes just the bit where they go left.

And is there any guides for removing the carbon canister?

In the garage
I also would like to know how to remove the gold coloured part of the aircon from under the header tank

As for the carbon canister, follow all the pipes from it, block off the 1 to the tip & throw the rest in the bin

Shame about your clutch, sure it'll be a monster again soon enough though.

Cheers Mucka. will have to meet up some time soon. once i have it all back together and going.

I have confirmed either my piston rings or valve stems for 1 and 2 cylinder and f**ked as there oil dripping from the exhaust ports

new clutch has also arrived.

I have replaced all 8 exhaust valve guides in the head as the ones on cylinder 1 and 2 were worn quite badly the other two cylinders weren't to bad but just replaced out of practice. all the valves have been cleaned and relapped the lifters have been split emptied and cleaned and i have had the head skimmed. Just waiting on my Rods and gates performance belt now to do the bottom end then put the car back together
