Finally have the car back on the road thanks to Parkmanautos for the second hand ecu. And a lot of thanks to Rich at viper Tuning for coding it to work on my car as it was a different code.
As i Have now loast the Revo map I've decided to get the car fully custom coded by Rich at Viper tuning I've seen the work he has done to my mates s4 its insane.
good weekends work done. new timing belt (tensioners inc.), water pump and aux belt fitted oil coolant change also oil and filter.
Also raised the coilies up just a wee bit so i can get out my works car park and fit my new wheels.
I really want a big break kit for the car anyone got any ideas? best way to go etc?

ok my gear box is making anice knocking noise on start up andshut downbut is ok whilst driving :s. i have no clutch slip or nything so i'm slightly confussed.
Is this more than likely the syncro?
I've just bought a new lightened and balanced g60 flywheel and kevlar vr6 clutch which i will fit in the next couple of weeks and fill the gear box with some nice millars gb oil.
Any ideas on the Gearbox knocking welcome ta

Well i had up up on ramps and was underneath it when starting and stopping the engine. the sound definaltly comes from the gearbox area. is it possible its the gearbox mount doing this?

Ok bought a G60 lightened and balanced flywheel and a kevlar vr6 uprated clutch. will be replacing the current duel mass fly and current clutch on the 25th then all i need to finish my project is the map and some Brembos for the front.

Unfortunatly i have been unable to fit my fly and clutch due to work commitments 
. i'm not sure when i will be able to do this now.
Due to a bodgejob been done on my previous 3" downpipe by Wallace performance I have now had a full custom powerflow 3" downpipe sports cat and 2.5" centre section made and fitted car actually has a nicer burble as the centre section is slightly larger. More importantly it all fits properly so nothing is catching on fire.
I have also fitted my new wheels at last now the weather is looking up. pics now on

Whilst I remember I have a full set of brand new BAM 386CC injectors from the LCR/S3 for sale open to sensible offers. They are still in the boxes. bought and never used as I'm not going hybrid or K04 anytime soon.
Also have a Revo SPS+ controller for sale which has 3 preset maps loaded. if you look back in y thread u will see the power graphs. As i no longer have revo and will be going custom i no longer need this so again open to sesible offers. its only 4 months old not been used for the last 2 due to my ecu breaking over xmas retails new with no maps for £175 so sensible offers and i'm willing to post.

Cheers. i just didn't want to do the d90 or superlegera root as its been over done so was loking and rotas, mo5's and these and this set came up at an unbelievably good price only 2 months old with brand spanky new toyo's wrapped in them so i jumped at it. they the staggered fitment as well so they 8inch wide rears and 7 inch wide front. sits really nice

Just ordered a set of Brembos from a Ibiza cupra R so they should be here in a week. Then its time to take some logs and send them away to Rich at viper tuning to get the map sorted out for my car. Cant wait.

The center section of the clutch was knackered it was rattely and horrible the fly had about 2 inch of movement instead of the normal 1cm or 2.

busy weekend cleaning
ok this saturday i got my mate to do full body buff on my car. he went over it all with the orbital buffer with hard cutting compound and then the finishing compound and then got polished and waxed. pics

unfortunatley i seem to get a very viliont judder through the brakes once they've heated up. one second they are perfect and excellent then next time i brake they are juddery as hell any idea's?

once i got home today 70 miles away from where the car was cleaned on saturday i decided it was dirty again so washed and waxed again

I still have the knocking noise coming from the gearbox. its definatly the gear box as i was under it at the weekend. the knock is coming from when the driveshafts go into the box. What could this be?
