Woop woop my Scat rods, uprated bearings and Gates performance belt should be here next week. that means i can get the engine back together.

Vibra technics rear and gearbox mount are currently in transit, still sorting the front one.

hopefully the car should be back on the road by the 1st weekend in November...... well i hope so.

Great car mate just read though start to finish shame to hear about your problems but all cars have them.

Iv just booked mine in to have the box changed and a single mass conversation. It annoys me I could do the work my self just don't have the time or space to do it.

I bet 230 bhp feels good tho. I belive mines got a stage one map and that still feels quick at time.

Be really good see this back on the road I do love them in red.

had enough now.

Had the car back on the road 4 days and I believe the stupid techniclutch clutch has gone already. Sitting at idle the car now has a really loud ticking noise coming from the gearbox/clutch. Never done it before:-(. .

Anyone have any advice on which is the best clutch and flywheel package to get?

Also my rear passenger tyre I found worn through to canvas on the inside edge and when changing the wheel found the shock to be f***ed so need new rear suspension also.

So looks like more money is getting spent on things I have already spent it on. really really not happy just now.

On the plus notemy new 16" pro race 1.2's wrapped in r888's arrived and my t1rs will arrive this week. Putty I won't be using them for a while.

TechniClutch are pretty hit and miss with clutches, should be able to get your money back if you send it back to them with a complaint. No way should it be knackered after 4 days

cheers lads,

Well box should be off sometime this week will inspect everything. I'm starting to think it may not be the clutch but time will tell. Could just be because this shim isn't inbetween the box and engine.

Shame about the clutch mate, always something that spoils lots of hard work :(

You got any pics of the 42draft adapter for the gauges fitted??

Might have to buy one if the oil pressure sender doesnt fit in the space

Yeah tell me about it Berg, looks like the car will be sitting on the axle stands for another 3-4 weeks whilst i await the arrival of my ECS stage 2 clucth and fly wheel kit :). didn't think it would take so long to be delivered :(.

The 42 Draft design adapter is good for just oil pressure but no good if you want to fit temp as well, as i have now found out. the temp sender needs to be a lot closer to the flow of the oil to pick up the temp.

i've just ordered a M10x1 t-piece from ebay so i can plumb both the temp and pressure senders in alot closer to the flow.

In the photo youve posted above, is that the spare blank port your running the 42 draft adapter from?
Do you think theres gonna be enough space in that area for your pressure & temp senders and t-piece? had a look at mine and it looks pretty crammed lol

Bought one of those t-piece myself to fit my oil pressure gauge as im now gonna have it T'd off the standard pressure sensor on the right hand side as theres more room

I reckon it will as long as the pressure sender is at 90 degrees pointing towards the radiator if not I will plumb the pressure sender where u said. And put the temp back I the spare.

Ok fitted t-piece for oil pressure senders. Plumbed it in where the stock pressure sender is as berg said above slightly more space and keeps the temp sender in the flow of the oil. Pics
