My car splutters.....!

Does anyone have any experience with spluttery engines on the LCR? My one is a bit spluttery at the minute on start-up and when i'm driving along...! I'm a bit miffed really. Do you think that it could be something to do with the plugs not sparking properly?

can you elaborate on the problem a bit more? i.e. gentle/hard accelleration? what gears? only when cold?

there is a well documented issue with hesitancy at low revs. try doing a search for more info.

It is mainly in low gears during acceleration but it happens when you take your foot off the accelerator as well. I know the clutch generally pulls you back but it is really jumpy and it feels as if you lose power. Bit of a crap description but I don't know how to describe it really!!

It happens when it is cold but it is becoming more frequent when it is up to running temperature as well!
