Whilst the crank is out you might aswell get the engine bored slightly? Maybe to 1.9? It costs around £100 and the piston prices are pretty similar 81-83mm.

Yeah there Plenty strong enough.
Just with the bottom end all apart it's worth doing the bottom end properly.

Over bore to 1.9 you'll regret it if you don't, quicker spool for a laggy turbo if you choose that route in the future. Standard pistons are not fully forged but ok up to around 400 by the looks of things. I would replace them too, as Elliott says no price difference in the different sized pistons.
I would change them whilst it's in bits. You don't want that to be the factor in stopping you going over the 400 mark. Even with a 1.9 you'll have a better drive and power on standard turbo.
Fourtwofive (Joe) has a 1.9 k03hybrid and that makes immense amount of torque and spools like mad
Bigger pistons, new rings which you would get anyway, along with the other bits that you're going to replace anyway.
