Whilst the crank is out you might aswell get the engine bored slightly? Maybe to 1.9? It costs around £100 and the piston prices are pretty similar 81-83mm.
Easy to work on aren't they mate when you have the Haynes there.
Over bore to 1.9 you'll regret it if you don't, quicker spool for a laggy turbo if you choose that route in the future. Standard pistons are not fully forged but ok up to around 400 by the looks of things. I would replace them too, as Elliott says no price difference in the different sized pistons.
I would change them whilst it's in bits. You don't want that to be the factor in stopping you going over the 400 mark. Even with a 1.9 you'll have a better drive and power on standard turbo.
