My original Uno Mk1 1.0 Fire did 185500 miles and was still going strong on its original engine. The rust (on the door) and consumables which needed to be changed (clutch) became too expensive relative to the value of the car to warrant keeping it going.

So it DID last. It was 14 years old when I retired it, and I thrashed it (as much as could be I guess for a 1 litre). Serviced it myself too :D

Most Uno Turbos end off in suicide...

If yours lasted 14 years, you either dont thrash it hard enough or just lucky...

Just kidding :D

YOu can understand what i mean of course,... I am sort of comparing them to VAG cars. Exceptions always exist

My second car's a Renault 5 GT Turbo. Good bit of fun for the weekend's!!!

NO ABS,
NO traction control,
NO sound proofing
NO Impact bars or safety at all!!!
LOTS OF adrenaline, fun and excitment!!!

Good man[B)]

I love R5 GTT's, one of my personal favorites:)

Another quick car that will surprise alot of people is the Daihatsu Charade GTi

1 litre 3cyl turbo engine.

Just a box on wheels but it flies
