i havent brought it yet, i checked the number plate, and left a deposit on the car, i checked the HPI documents and things... What more is a man to do,
If the engine doesn't look like a Cupra R then it isn't, whatever any registration checking service says. The fact that so far it doesn't have the wheels, brakes or engine would suggest that its not an R.
Have you got a link to the advert where you saw the car?
This is never something that crosses my mind when i buy a car. You must have got it cheep or the dealer was very shiffty if you are asking this question on a forum.
No brembo's would be a good sign to me why would ya asell these of the car hope ya haven't got stung too bad yet. Happened me one time with a TDI Golf meant to be 150 but was 130. Not a nice thing to happen.
unfortunately matey sounds like a cupra to me too.. big tell tale sign would be the "no brembos" and not the cupra R wheels ...
dealers sometimes get things wrong. many a time ive seen "golf anniversary" ... and then you look at the pics of the car, no anni wheels, no anni interior, no red/black stitching, BUT ... it has the anni body kit so that "automatically" makes it an Anniversary...
If you are looking fo ra Cupra R .. i would strongly recommend you get your deposit back bud!
