hi again,

the owner before me pianted the mirrors in that brushed steel affect, but i think this week they will soon be black (or maybe red?) haha

He also gave me a card for the paint coolour to match them if ever they got chipped but i can only take a photo and show you it. To be fair i could even do the mirrors in this colour. hmmmm black red or alloys colour....

My TIP came today so should be fitting it some night this week if the weather will let me lol. Its booked in for a cambelt, tensioner, waterpump job this Thursday just for peace of mind. After that its a good service then modding time! a 3 inch downpipe and decat i reckon.

Chris2401... the piper exhaust i bought mine with isnt too loud at all when cruising but it sounds lovely when you open her up! I think my mate Sean commented on the exhaust last week and it has a nice rasp to it. Ill take some better photos this week with all the current work i got planned for it

Nice clean car mate! Stand out from the crowd with the stripes! Just wondering where you got the mud flaps from? Need a set desparatly! They were mixing fine grit in with the road salt up where i stay this year because supplies were running low and now the grit is getting washed up with the rain and eating away at the paint on the lip of the rear bumber and the side skirts!! Its made a rite mess of my paint work :-(

cheers fella, id love to help you with the mudflaps but i bought the car with them already on, was thinking of taking them off but too many have said keep them on and paint the SEAT logo on them red

Do you have the full version of photoshop or did u download it? How would I do wt u do mate? What kind of version photoshop do i need to download and is it easy to mod certain parts of the car?

I just used photoshop elements found it on disc at work. yea easy to do just takes time, used airbrush tool on color mode most of the time to mod the car. yea could of done the lights better look out of place, but i did it at work so was rushed.

Hi Mate.

I have managed to get a copy of Adobe Photoshop CS3 Portable off my mate. Would this be able to do what you have done or isn't it the right photoshop?

If I can managed to work on photoshop I am going to see what Chrome mirrors look like along with 18" RS4 alloys look like on a black LCR as these would be two of my mods when I get my LCR next year.

Despite you were at work i think you have done a good job and ur LCR looks nice. The lights don't look tht out of place to me.

hi all,

wel after installing a dull boost gauge i had laying around to see what the car wa sboosting at, i found it was only peaking at 16 then dropping to 14. This is standard so i have heard, however, when i bought the car, i have a reciept from Rallytech proving its had a superchip installed. How true this i dont know. Looks like i might be having to check the car in with AMD as they are failry local to me and can find ot if it has been chipped and what power shes really running.

Im kind of pleased that its only boosting at that, a si feel the car is quick enough as it is, but def knew it wernt producing the figures the seller had told me. But hey, there maybe room for more power, if its not been mapped. If it has i can get Rallytech to remove the superchip and opt for a custom map from AMD theirselves.
