well, the ford went. i ended up really hating that car but it served a purpose and saved me a fair bit of cash. i did end up going for something a little quicker and ended up with this.

it was stupidly quick and made all the right noises...... but was VERY thirsty! it was only a short term relationship though and ended up like this

so, for the next car i decided to move away from forced induction and go for something a bit different..... it also meant a return to the VAG stable too. i'd always liked the VW Bora and the V6 4motion in particular as it is quite a rare car. i found one that looked ok and hopped onto a train to the new forest to have a look at this

the deal was done and i drove it home. i had plans for it so a quick call to DPM saw it wearing H&R uprated ARB's similar to what i had on the LCR, a set of coillies along with some H&R spacers on the rear. i also fitted a black front grill and picked up some S3 wheels for a bargain price.

then to top it all off some lowlife decided to help themselves to my stereo and causing lots of damage which ended up costing me over £600. but every cloud has a silver lining so i've now got an alpine double din unit and while i was sorting that i got rid of the faux wood trim covering it with 3M carbon fibre vinyl and replacing the gearknob with a carbon fibre version that was originally for a sharan.

so now i'm happy with the handling and interior (need a R32 steering wheel though) i need to concentrate on the go faster bits and to also make the most of the V6 soundtrack.

Thank god you saw the light and got rid of the Ford. They're horrible, cheap nasty rusty things.

The EVO looked nice! Bet it hurt though! :(

Bora V6 is good! :D Bora's look good just lowered on the right wheels :) Welcome back to VAG!

Welcome back mate! Hope things are going well, liking the bora mate, big plans afoot?
