Also liking the engine bay clean. It won't build up quickly the dirt under there so if you do it bit by bit each time you wash it will get show clean in no time.
Autoglym vinyl & rubber care is amazing stuff for the black plastics under the bay, let it soak in and you can rinse off with a karcher set to off so the water gently does bits on the bay. Obviously don't turn it on when rinsing on a bay! Lol.
I take off my engine cover every so often, rinse down with the hose, then leave to soak in the sun with the vinyl & rubber care for a while until the overruns have run off. Then rinse off, leave to dry and it'll look mint. You can then spray the same stuff back on it when fitted and rub it into the plastics to get that 'new' plastics look. D.K showed me how to get the best from the black plastics and boy does it work.
