The exhaust sounds good mate

Also liking the engine bay clean. It won't build up quickly the dirt under there so if you do it bit by bit each time you wash it will get show clean in no time.

Autoglym vinyl & rubber care is amazing stuff for the black plastics under the bay, let it soak in and you can rinse off with a karcher set to off so the water gently does bits on the bay. Obviously don't turn it on when rinsing on a bay! Lol.

I take off my engine cover every so often, rinse down with the hose, then leave to soak in the sun with the vinyl & rubber care for a while until the overruns have run off. Then rinse off, leave to dry and it'll look mint. You can then spray the same stuff back on it when fitted and rub it into the plastics to get that 'new' plastics look. D.K showed me how to get the best from the black plastics and boy does it work.

I ran put of vinyl care half way through but megalurs hot wheels tyre shine does the job hahaha.

I've straightened the exhaust a bit took forever only up on stands but I'm going to leave be til decat is fitted then will sort it abit more.

How did u get on at amd? Bit hot so I read did u not get a good run?

Those products will do the job mate! Keep persisting on the bay it'll come good

Same with the exhaust, try cable ties around the hangers.. Just be careful not to tie it too tight that the rear silencer touches the heat shield above.

Amd was extremely hot! Car pulled 286bhp and 318 lb/ft. 32 degrees on the day and cars indoors with the fans by the rollers in effect just blowing hot air at the front of the car. I want to take it on again but Jan/Feb time when it's cold, lol

Yeah it's good to know what it's doing although logging through vagcom will tell you more.

You can see if your map is nice and smooth though too. So if it's not check things like the N75 and that's performing correctly etc.

No it didn't which was pretty annoying. Decat is on now will post pics and a short vid of it later!

Unfortantly not as when u order a cat back it's 2.5" bore so then you have to have the decat to match.

But on a plus note it cost 305 for the catback and 250 for the downpipe/decat so 555 in total whereas the 3" turbo back system is 625

I know we would all like the extra 1/2" but it's good enough for me
