My stolen ibiza thread

Well as i posted in the general section i had a car stolen from me about 4 months ago and it was returned back to me last week, it was immaculate when it was stolen and has been brought back in well... a **** state!
This is how it looked before it was stolen

This was how it was deliverd to me, looked fine at first glance but then after looking around found all the horrors!

Melted Arches :/

Damaged wheels

Cracked Wingmirror

Door and sill damaged from what looks like a forklift

Big chip on the bonnet

Smashed up rub strip

Big dent in the roof

Bad scuffs on bumper

Cracked middle front bumper

Engine cover broken

Large Chips in bumper

Luckily the boot build was mostly still in tact so set to work removing it today, heres when it was out! so much dynamat!

Damage to one of the amps deep scraches in it

Then set to work taking the front and back bumper off today, hers pic of the back end that has been keyed ready for primer and the bumper removed! will post miore pics up tomorow thanks for looking

Started the filler work the other day on smoothing out the rub strips

Then got to grips with the dent in the roof

Then time for primer

Doors in primer, without the rubstrips

Forklift mark looks like where the recovery company have moved it about without the keys.

Who 'owns' the car now? You or your insurance company

does it? and i own the car as it wasnt insured when it was stolen it was in a garage in a compound

does it drive the same mate and any strange noises?? i had a car nicked and got it back a month after and it drove like a piece of shite, had to get rid in the end. i hope yours is ok though!!

o be honest not really driven it but i a currentl in the middle of doing an engine swap in it so all should be fine once done

fair enough mate. looks well in white, nice one!! im rebuliding my mk2 and thats getting sprayed white.

you going for straight white? you cant really see from the pics but that is a frozen white with a silver pearl so it has a shimmer!

its not my everyday car so it really doesnt worry me yes its annoyed me that it was stolen but not the end of the world and has promted me to do the smoothing and colour change i was going to do

yes its a straight white but im having it done for nothing as my lad doing an apprentiship in car body repairs and spraying so i carnt grumble really! get some pics up when its outside in the sun then we can see the shimmer?
