i put a thread up about the red grille surorund a few weeks ago! i think it would look ace on either a standard or a debadged jobbie, in a GTI stylee! especially on a black one, not sure it'd work on yellow but on black definately!
red stuff is abit bright for me, the ones on top defo need to go back darker imo, buit you;ve done a good job on it!

The carpc looks great. I am currently fitting mine into my new FS. I will be installing infinity kappa speakers in the front doors and 6x9's in the back. I will have a 12" sub, 2 amps and the pc in the boot. Everything will be covered in grey pig suede. I will be fabbing a 7" touch into the dash but with no head unit.
I am not so sure about the red on your dash, maybe a bit bright for me but still looks good all ther same.

Ive decided to spray round the edges of the grill. Done two layers of primer and just sprayed the first coat of red. Going to give it a good thick three layers of laquer as it'll be prone to stuff flying at it. Pics later

it is alot easier to do it on the original seat one as you can detatch the chrome bit for sprayingget it done
Aye Luke, it would be easyer on the original grill but I'm at work all weekend so I'll just take the grill out, mask it up and do a proper job of it.
I've just put a request in the photoshop section to see what it will look like.
I think it will look sweet though

Saw a Golf GTI with wheels very similar to that today in Preston. Looked very nice but can you imagine how often you'd have to clean them?! Grille looks sweet.
