N249 Bypass DV Sound?

Hi all.

Just wondering if bypassing the N249 will change the sound of the DV at all? 007 in this case running stage 1.

Didnt in my case really but it does seem to operate quicker
Mine is only running standard map though

Yes it has changed the sound of dv. It seems like now its relasing quicker. One stronger shorter woosh compared to longer, less sharp whoosh before bypass ;D

I might have to give this a go and see what happens. The N249 is peeing me off at the moment when the wheels spin and it cuts boost + I'd like a sharper whoosh

You shouldn't lose boost with the TCS off though...

Not as much but the N249 still works as part of the ESP doesn't it, as a safety precaution in case you start to lose control?

In those cases you could argue the N249 would be a good thing. BUT, I think removing it does make the piping simpler so will act a fraction quicker...

Yeah that is a good thing but sometimes it's judgement seems to be more on the precaitious side when it's not needed.

I have just found something to do over the weekend , if I don't like it then I'll put it back standard I guess.

I must be going mad, I can't find the N249 bypass guide for the LCR when doing a search. Has it disappeared somewhere?
