I've done it an noticed a masdsive difference. Namely my peak boost pressure pressure is now 5psi. Limp mode.

Thanks, but no thanks.

Dan:confused:

Youve done something wrong then mate :thumbd:

Check your black and white check valve is in the right way round first!

Might help if you post a couple of pictures of how youve done it so we can maybe identify the problem aswell

What exactly do you mean by that?

Maybe something is wrong somewhere. You checked the massive N249 thread????

No, done everything right. i think it is caused by boost spikes. runs ok, dv sounds better, off boost driving is smoother, but occaisionally i get a limp mode after a "good push".

I'm thinkin a map will get this sorted.

Overboost on a standar map (cupra r) thats all, if you were remapped you probably wouldnt get it. I've never hit limp mode for overboost since i've had the car.

Thinking about it Willz might have been hitting limp mode aswell, Cupra R making ~5-7psi and turbo having to work extremely hard (very hot after only 2 mins!).

And he did have a fault code for overboost aswell!

Although it did have a really nasty misfire between 4-5k rpm
