I recently had a car accident and the only thing stopping me from collecting my repaired car is a 17" alloy (like the cupra R but smaller). This came on the last of the FR's. Does anyone know where I can get a new one immediately? Seat are shipping one over from Pedro but are unsure when it will arrive - it has been on order for 3 weeks now!!!

Dont know but the Ibiza Cupra mk4 and Leon FR are definately not the same wheels, just a similar looking design. Would guess the Ibizas are running a large offset to clear the SEAT sport calipers...

Here's the Ibiza ones. The Leon ones dont have the cut outs at the top of the spokes either...

Why dont you just put the spare on and get the dealer to lend you one of their's to put in the boot?

The spare is a '50mph wheel' for use in an emergency - silly really as it is full size!!

Does anyone have any ideas of where I can get one - you will make a Loen owner very happy...

If the wheel is a full size steel type its not a 50mph special....

It does state in big stickers that the limit is 50mph although as you point out, I am not sure why

The dealer has one on order although no delivery date has been confirmed - the truck is still in Spain apparently!!!

I allways found that odd, same on the Skoda's.

the reason it will prob be limited to 50 is because the wheels on the same axel must be the same size,
but the spare isn't,
i.e profile, diameter, width.
becasue it isn't the same size the restriction is 50,
if the police stop you and youe doing 70 on your spare, they wont be too happy!
