New car being built this week!!!

My dealer has just sent another email to confirm the car was built on the 26th,and is on the way to the port of Tyne.

Thats great news. Hope that means my car is on the same ship? I wonder why my dealer tells me nothing. Can you do me a favour and ask your dealer where they get that info from, so I can TELL mine to look in the same place for me.

It took about a week and half/two weeks for mine to get here once it was on the ship. Apparently they wait in a the dock in the UK until there is enough to send a transporter full to the dealers area

That may be next week then I have to hope its coming into Southampton, the IOW ferry is only 5 mins from the Container port, and new cars are normally driven into the ferry

Hey guys, been looking on this forum for a couple of weeks now and decided to become a member, thought i would post about my new seat delivery, the build week was week 27 and it left the docks friday my dealer says it should be with me in around 10days.

Ah good to hear, cheers for the update, mine was build week 27, due for delivery on 27/07/09 (estimated) so that sounds about right, can't wait, been waiting since March!

I think car dealers days or different to ours,i think there's are,1 day = 1 light yearso should be with you in the next millennium then.i am sick of waiting for mine and no offer off i will through in some carpets,or an air fresher

Did you mean it left the docks in Spain last Friday? Mine landed in the UK on Friday so am wondering about the timings.

yeah mine left docks in spain on friday and should be docking soon.. then should take around 10days to be sent down so if timings are around the same yours should be arriving pretty soon.

just had another email said the car should be at the garage on Friday,will have to put the superguard polish stuff on ect,i have to go in tomorrow to sign the thing to get road tax,i have the reg number,and been told can have free 7 day seat insurance while i change my outher insurance over.so i think it will be Monday wam bam thankyou man
