If you've read the title you know how moronic i am, But I was wondering if anyone has experience with exhausts on the SE model. I really dislike having no tailpipes and I'm considering getting rid of the DPF because of the hassle involved. Thanks

Dummy Box? I live in Northern Ireland I believe the Laws are slightly more Relaxed ?

No idea about NI but in the UK it now has to pass a zero smoke test and have 'no evidence of DPF tampering', although you can apparently still pass a euro 5 or 6 test with the DPF removed...

Even if I were to keep the dpf would I be able to just get tail pipes, perhaps by getting rid of the back box or would I need a Whole New System, Cheers :clown:

Anything is possible. U can get back boxes removed with new tailpipes which will fit to your existing system or u can get a cat back system. Depends on budget and what u want to achieve really.

Are Backbox deletes illegal? I watched a Video were a bunch of lads essentially gutted the back box on a Fr and the Car was no louder .

Hi Guys,
I wanted to ask you. I know this was posted a while ago but. I had a 2012 mk2 1.6tdi se COPA ecomotive. I put a chrome tip and it looked good now. But I recently bought a 2013 se tech and want to put a chrome tip on it. I know I guy and I’m yet to ask him (exhaust specialist) if he’s able to put one on and make it flush or does the bumper need A. A diffuser or B. Does it need cut abit the back bumper? I wanted to know what you guys think. Thanks in advance.
