New Headunit causes loss of Air Conditioning

Very very long time no see!

just wondering if anyone else has had this problem...

basically, i bought a sony headunit and also their adapter so that it will use the original wires from the main h/u.

two connectors go to the back of the ISO adapter, and then into the new h/u.
so only one goes back into the old h/u.

with it like this, i cant do anything like changing the Air con options!!
anyone know what i have to do??

you need to power the old unit as well

once that has power you problem is solved

Aye. Both the new and old units need a power source, as HoocH said above ones both are powered up it'll be fine.

so does the old h/u just need power and ground?? will this also turn the screen on and get a display on it??
