have the same cooler for one year almost my first and only time the pipe pop of was on the test run after i hade it on. and i used the clips with the kit.still on and going strong you just need some strong muscles no problems

if it stands out too much , why dont you paint it black , then you will still be able too see it but it wontbe in your face
