Very interesting thread,i'm part way through collecting parts for this conversion.Is the manifold essential?

Where have you guys sent your turbos to be done,the prices quoted on here are good.
 
With a little more use of the search function i've found it's CR Turbos,does anyone know the email address? The website doesn't show it.

Manifold isnt essentional but i'd say change it anyways to help with flow, iirc theres some for sale in the for sale section :whistle:

dont know about there email address but there number is on there website thats what i always used to contact them-very helpfull.

not essential, unless you are going hybrid

standard mani I believe can only flow to 250bhp max (anyone who states they have more on a standard k03s with standard mani is playing the "Dyno Lottery")
 
With this ko3s hybrid,will be more like the K04 regaring spoolup time etc...

I believe the k03s and K04 spool up times are not worlds apart, if not very similar as these are units which are built to spool pretty low down the rev range and fairly quickly

on the road difference, I doubt you would even notice mate
 
Has anyone got conclusive figures with the k03s hybrid? I have one here waiting to be sent of,is the hybrid worth it? It's going onto a mk4 golf AGU.
 
sounds like a very quick car. lot of hard work gone into it. all the best.

normal figures are 270-280bhp max

I would be sceptical if anyone is pushing 290....
 
just out of intreast what sort of boost you getting as not sure mines running quiet right yet only get 21 psi then holding till about 5.5 then slowely drops to 15psi at redline you get more than that?
 
i dont even know what mine is doing, as boost gauge is buggered :(

cant wait to find out what power its pushing, hopefully (massive fingers crossed) will find out saturday
