Very nice. I was going to ask what the little lumps were on the bonnet. Headlight washers eh? Handy!

Are those lump things deffinately headlight washers? I've got the winter pack and have those lumps but was told they weren't headlight washers.. I've never really bothered to use my washers and check..

If you mean the oval lumps just beneath the headlamps, then yes they are headlamp washers, they only work when your headlamps are on and automatically work when you clean windscreen.

Very nice. I really miss my FR. Wish I had kept it. My wife keeps telling me it was her favourite of all the Leons we had.
I have seen you around Ilkeston thought it was a Cupra at a glance until now.

we have a mitsi outlander, long story. Wanted a new A4 but long waiting list approx 20wks. Delaer faffed about with what I wanted and prices for extras so ended up with outlander. Also did my DAS and bought a motorbike too.

Car is ok awesome stereo and wanted something different plus can chuck camping gear in back and dog and away we go and plenty of room for my mountain bike to go off roading.

When they work you should see some spray come up over the bonnet from the washers and if you use them at night you can defo see it in your lights as your driving and it runs off.

headlamp washers only work when your head lights are on, and even then only every 3rd screen wash.

Looked at an A4 myself, didn't think they were anywhere near as good value for money as Leon's are. Outlander's are surely different, sounds like you need the room too, hope you enjoy it, hopefully will see you around Ilkeston.

Do you ride your mountain bike locally at say Hemlock, Blue Bell woods or Shipley, or do you go further afield like Cannock Chase or Sherwood Pines? Only asking cos me an my boys are all Mountain bike nuts.

Sometimes take bike with me to my parents when we visit and go to chicksands and pegstone hills via Hitchin into dunstable quite a good ride very high up in hills with wild goats roaming.

What is Chicksands like, my lads keep pestering me to take them there, knowing them it'll be dirt jumps only and how long does it take to get there.

Its ok. Narrowish tracks and there are lots of jumps to keep the boys busy while you go off for a ride through the woods. From Ilkeston probably take two hours ish.
Its pretty sandy and gritty so can be loose under tyres.
