new tyres help

Learned a sore lesson last week re tyres.

Bought cheap economy ones in a stupid attempt to save a little bit of money. In retrospect, I would have paid the money i'd "saved" twice over if I didn't have to experience that horrible sinking feeling that there is just no way the car will stop sliding in time to miss that car thats just pulled out infront of me......

so true. suspension,brakes and tyres stop cars.... personally i wouldnt penny pinch on any of it.

eagle f1s have lasted 18k and have just been swopped around... i reckon another 6k before i change them ......so cheaper possibly than naff tyres anyway over time.

mind you.... budgets and 320bhp =

I've been impressed with the life of the GSD3's too....everyone seems so say they are good but wear out quick.... my fronts I've just replaced had done 20k and still had about 2.5mm left.... only replaced them as i'm on a trip to europe today for a 2k mile drive.... (and I don't drive like my dad either...)
