new user with question on fr150 54 plate?

Iv owned my fr since jan this year and recently a warning light has come on! the book sais its diagnosis*/excess of pollution-but the description sais that the light will start to flash incase of failure-but my light is staying on permanent! any ideas anyone or will i have to book it in to a diagnostics garage? if i do, any ideas where in the swansea area is any good? sorry bout the 101 questions.

150TDi with engine management light (EML) staying on perminantly, will probably be the glow plugs, rail or wiring box for the glow plugs. (by box i've forgotten the name of it but when you unlock the car this box of tricks begins to warm up the plugs so when you turn the key you wait a second not 5). Common fault - Fix - new glow plugs, Start with that and get the fault cleared. Seams to happen on any age any milage, mines on 06 150 and mine went at 25k. Do a seasrch and you'll see lots have had the problem

i had the same was just one glow plug out repalced them now it is fine

Cheers for the suggestions, booked in for 120k service end of the month, think they got diagnostic machine there, try and get them to check it out for me, been quoted £140 for the service-Stamped n all, dont know if this is reasonable or not, or what is needed for this serv?
