new wheel thoughts?

So getting the windows and lights tinted monday morning on my red lcr was going to refurb and colour wheels in anthracite however now im thinking of new wheels all together... whats ppls thoughts on these bad boys and how close to anthracite is it.. (I dont like black wheels but I do want them dark to suit tints)

the first ones look nice but a bit hard to tell without seeing them on a car but a nice wheel never the less

also any idea how much the standard alloys go for second hand so i can recoup some £££ back

I think they vary in price m8 to be fair and also if someone is looking for some
there were a set of 5 on here for sale not so long back he was looking for around the £500 mark so depends on the condition really and tyres

Second ones are nice, I'd go for them out of the two. You would get a couple of hundred quid for the wheels without tyres I reckon. Maybe more if they don't need a refurb

I have a black LCR and need a wheel refurb and can't decide what colour to go for either. Probably just stick with standard to be safe.

Yeah that's what I was thinking. Don't happen to know of any good refurb places in Midlands? There is one in Notts I've been looking at but it's £100 per corner.

£100 ouch!! A mate recommended a place called city powder coaters in digbeth.. they did his r32. When I called I was quoted £50 that was with me taking the car with the wheels on.

I'd have Enkei's over rotas anyday, as they're not made of toffee like the Rotas are.

My mate has them on a red gti and they look nice on that. Just found a place that'll do mine for 60 per corner and give me doner wheels for the day....result!

I reckon the second ones gonna get on it in the morn... I assume they will be an easy fit as I put in what car I have... although I have spacers so would that make any difference?
