Bought myself a nomad pillar a while ago and an autometer oil temp and boost gauge, but due to it being cold outside i asked a garage to fit at the same time thay did my ARBs.
But they didn't fit to well but the bloke in the garage said he could dremel it out bigger, now i know the actual gauge diameter is slightly different due to imperial gauges and metric pillar but this is not the problem. It is the piece behind the gauge that clamps it in place that wont fit the pod. The bloke took of as much as he could but still couldn't get it to fit properly .
Now the gauges are sat slightly on the piss and the surround doesn't lie flat on the pod leaving the white behind the gauge showing.
Has anyone else had this, or could it just be a crap moulding.
Either way i am tempted to mask gauge and paint the white of the gauge that is showing.
Or is there another way as i have seen others with the same type gauges and pillars but they seem to fit fine???
