Its an original Turbo Technics conversion.

At jamsport the same turbo/head on another tt engine of his made 191bhp and similar torque at about 8-9 psi.

Its quite quck really as its a light car.

tt = turbo technics (not audi tt)

You cant run it much above 10-11 psi on a regular basis, its an old design wet-lined engine plus its running a 5th injector so something would let go.
no easy re-map like our 1.8t's, plus a t25 just generates heat above about 14psi, its only a small turbo.

Its nice as it is to be honest, and hes not bothered really about it being the fastest thing on the road, its a bit rare now to give it a lot of abuse, besides, he has a sierra cosworth for that.

What a stunning pair ;) Im going to print some of these off an go and post them in the guy up the road from where I live's letterbox. He has an R5 but, it hideous with its flip paint (beautiful shade of orange/green/purple) Massive gold yes gold :( roll cage !!! gold Clio williams alloys and a huge exhaust. All his 'mods' seem completely unecessary, these pictures prove that. Simplicity and good taste ARE important. :bleh:

I thought tt was twin turbo but then on a 4 pot? :D

Agree on all the line,,, I know 1.9 gti's are a pita to remap,,, usually people change the whole ecu,,, at least here in italy.
5th injector is good btw,,,

My mates Dad just sold his Supercharged Dimma 205 to one Mr Christian Abt, wanted it for Hill climbing. Apparently there are only about 10 Genuine and I mean Steel panelled Genuine Dimmas left in the country, of which 2 were the more powerful supercharged ones.

Personally if i had to have a mad old French car, the Renault Alpine would still get my vote.
