Hi all hope you are all well. I recently purchased a 2021 Seat Leon FR Sport. I absolutely love the car but I have never owned a Seat before so I have now realised I am missing quite a lot of features my old car had. I know this is my fault and I should of looked at the specs closer but basically I thought the car would have a lot more as standard than it does. I am trying to work out what I can add to the car via coding. I know the blind spot detection is pretty difficult due to the radars needing to be installed which is a shame but what about the cruise control that keeps you a certain distance from the car in front as I miss this quite a lot. I was also wondering about traffic sign recognition and high beam assist. Are these possible to be coded or am I wasting my time. I'd really appreciate some help with this. The only coding I have done was on an old 3 series which seems to be a lot easier than what I have been reading. Thanks again, Ben.

I confess that I already researched a lot in this topic, but in the midst of so much I couldn't understand
for short, nope, it's not possible to disable it. The only way to counter that is to install a capacitive steering wheel and code the car along.

Even then it is not possible. You only get travel assist but still the message every 10 sec
Not sure if you worded your answer right but with the capacitive steering wheel, and if you keep your hands on it, you wont have the warning every 10s.

It indeed let de horn sound when its going to brake and sets hazard lights. Perfect update.

But the part about the gateway coding isnt there (2020 Leon)

which part don't you find? do you have a my2020?
The gateway part only serves to eliminate an error that was created after installation
If you don't have this error, don't worry

Has anyone tried to change the steering wheel NOT HEATED with a capacitive new one with TRAVEL ASSIST and HEATED?
Does the heating work correctly? I understood that there is different hardware for the heating (not only the extra pin behind the airbag) but I'm not pretty sure.

Yes. I did this. Heating does NOT work, because there is no connector for the extra plug on the clockspring (turning base where steering wheel is attached to). At least, not in my car. I think you can replace that as well, but I am not sure which partnumber is the correct one. It seems there are two variants which may work. Maybe an extra cable is involved too.
