Yes they are, but it is not possible for them to test each and every combination of control unit hardware and software possibilities and their possible interactions with each other. An app that works for almost all combinations might not work for one that wasn't tested.

All unsafe if you dont think they have been tested correctly. One click market is designed to challenge other one click companies. If you want proper coding you code and that isn't really coding it's toggling on predefined functions that Vag have built into their systems for customisation for their own purposes. A point which people miss. Reversing out of what they have done via one click is the all important thing. Obdeleven started to use crowd sourcing to develop the one click apps which obviously means amateurs are producing the macros by scouring published mods.
