I was pleasantly suprised with these pics. Assuming that they are true to what's actually going to be built. However, the front grille looks hideous! And, as quite a few people have said, it looks like an Alfa 147 from behind (including those 'hidden' rear door handles). Not a bad effort though. 
Really like it in this colour too. Whats peoples guesstimates as to how much its going to cost? Also whats the likelyhood of a hot (ie with those bumpers and those wheels) diesel version?

Cost, well I guess you'll be looking at least Cupra R money for the 2.0 litre FSI turbo version, given the cost of the engine in A3 and GTi cars.

Its not a bad looking car. But as the Altea Concept that looked great, its probably gonna be tonned down to a dull looking car as the Altea is now!
