Just out of interest, how big is the hole in the gasket? I made my own so no idea if it is bigger or smaller than these

I have also fitted the egr gasket and have immediately noticed a much much smoother take off from stationary and, when driving normally, a noticeable increase in general smoothness of the Engine / Transmission. Fuel consumption appears to be unchanged at about 45/46 mpg as shown on the display

Wow,what a difference! I can drive smooth at 1500 rpm again without stuttering up the road! Best £2 ever spent :D

the shiny chrome pipe about 1" diameter that comes off to the right perpindicular of the EGR at the front of the engine. 2 hex bolts secure it. You need to use a bit of force to flex it out of the way.

ok so i've got the gasket could some kind sole tell me where it goes

i had a look but its not where i thought ?

i posted the link to it in an earlier post. AFAIK that's the PD170 inlet but very similar tot he PD140 BKD engine.
