ordered new dump valve

just ordered new dump valve from forge (oo7p).

done some research on here to see what the best one is to go for, good advice on here ive got to say

are these easy enough to change over?

Very easy, You'll need some new Jubilee clips as the old one cant be reused

If you know which end of a screwdriver is which, you shouldn't have a problem.

Its like a 3 min job mate.

I was having probs with mine before I got the 007p & I can now change them in 30 seconds

Good piont mate. I've still got the yellow spring in mine and I'm now running stage 2
Must put the blue - red spring in

yellow spring didn't hold the boost in mine. With the blue one its noticably much smoother. I have a boost gauge so I can tell the difference.

aint got round to re-mapping yet, maybe after christmas and when the bank balance starts going back up again

changed mine in about 20 minutes, took about 18 of them minutes getting the stupid 1 trip clips off!

my mapper would go nuts if i ran anything other than the green spring. blue seems very stiff. all dependent on which turbo and map youre using

I will be honest, I have no clue about DV's. So I am just wondering what gains you guys see with the 007p over the OEM Bosch item?

Just will hold the boost a bit more towards the top end

get uuself a filter now and you will get a nice sound from the dv

Open cone filter + forge dv + forge tip = lovely dv sound

Thanks for the info. I do seem to notice that boost drop a tad at higher revs with my OEM item.

I have heard that the Bosch ones like to crack. I don't notice any symptoms of this so far but based on a many positive topics I have read on SCN, I'll be upgrading in the new year.
