got my spray form halfords. had to get 3 x ovni yellow spray, 1 x laquer and 1 x Pimer. Spent about 40 quid on paint. expensive but worth it. took about 5 -6 hours to do mine. was a well hot day. dried in no time.
I found that Halfrauds paint wasnt a good match thats why i want them doing again, as i did the bottoms of the bumpers with some mixed specific at a paint place in town.
Hmmm I've thought about doing this but I've decided it just isn't worth it, the paint just doesn't stand up to the elements, even with 3 layers of laquer my door lock blanking plate on my Golf looked like cr@p after a year or two, can't imagine what the rubbing strip would look like !

I have done the sides on mine but got paint matched took the lock trim in as i delocked at the same time and they matched the paint so nor a problem with any fade that way, also did the same with cupra r front bumper.
Has anyone found the bumper strips smoothed and primed? These part numbers are for the door strips, I haven't seen any for the strips in the bumpers, which also have that textured finish
