Passenger Side electric window

Strange one really, already done a search but nothing sounds similar to mine. Yesterday the passenger side electric window packed up. So when i got home i decided to have a look. As soon as i tried it at home it worked. Typical. But what it does now is if i turn the ignition on then off without firing the car the electric window comes opens (passenger side only) on its own and stays open. If i fire the car up it acts as normal. Ibiza cupra mk3 anyone have any ideas. I thought maybe the swith in the drivers side is worn/old and not sitting in the middle not up or down postion. Update, ittermittent windows dropping when they should not be, check your window switches. My drivers side passenger window switch was to blame.

i had a similar prob when i had a mk3 ibiza. mine packed up but every so often workd. Dealer changed the motor which cured it.
not an expense u want when you see no gain from it
