I'm running Allards VT5 turbo. :) They told me that ignoring the propane and NOS my car should be at 270bhp with just diesel - At the moment without propane or NOS it runs at "around" 225 to 230bhp - But I use propane all the time which roughly gives 240bhp as it gives a little more fuel. Fuel is what's lacking when pushing this kind of power and the only way to get more fuel is to fit bigger nozzles. The ones I'm getting are oem+25% so should not be too smokey providing the tune-up uses all the fuel - I think the turbo is capable of doing that. With propane and NOS I'm hoping to have the 300bhp limit topped, then the modding will more or less stop on this car. :)

Looks like these guys will do the whole thing for under 100 notes, including shipping them back to me. Bargain.

Cheshire - No customs issues [hint hint wink wink ;)] Means I get the fully fitted, tested injectors with R783 nozzles for about £500 in all, maybe £525. Haven't checked what exchange rate the $845 went through at yet.

sounds like you got a good deal there. :D
i was under the impression that upgrading nozzles/injectors cost double that
might just aswell do these at the same time as some Allards bits:D

how has reliability been running this kind of power?
have you had to replace / uprate any other parts?

Yeah - The US $:£ rate at the moment meant getting mine done in the US was a no-brainer, but as they weren't tested over there I've got someone here to do it. :)

Reliability has been A1 - Anything that's broke has generally been caused by me or they were outdated parts (such as when my clutch pedal snapped....) The engine though has been spot on, but I do regular oil changes, and respect the "cold" period when starting up, and also let the turbo calm down before switching off.

I've had to uprate some parts - clutch being the main one. But generally stock parts elsewhere.
