i would wait for a 2nd hand one to come available on here

honestly i have waited a month and about 3 or 4 came available but was too late to buy it as they get snapped up quick! perhaps buythe green filter new but the intake is only a piece of plastic far to expensive for my liking....

just keep checking the accessories for sale section daily and one will come avialbe soon!

hahahah yea...i was quick coz i know how quick they go....been let down by 3 people who have promised me it but they lived either up north or too far east so i would need them posted...and a lot of people just prefer collection and fortunately this guy lived realitively close to me so i collected!

keep the faith and keep looking...check fleabay too, they come up every so often

also put on strut brace, that was easy too just have to moce the water bottle and a black sensor to get to the bolts underneath...

lol, i wanted both of those items from him, guess i was too slow :D

nice little test, certainly proves the point, shame its not an independant test which allways make me suspicious. Surprising how poor the K&N filter is,

AMD technic use dry pipercross filters according to the forums, i cant find these on their site does any1 now the part nos?

the wife clipped a hedge/gutter yesterday must of hit a piece or rock or something, took a chunk out the alloy and punctured the brand new tyre (1 day old) car looks like its been through a rally ;(

I can see why I dry filter would allow more air through, but surely the whole point of having a lightly oiled filter is to allow it to trap the dirt and dust particles that would normally go through the cotton filter.

indeed, the pipercross are foam tho, and from my rather limited knowledge are also normally lightly oiled, but not the these ones. abit worrying really.

i s'pose a lightlty oiled even slightly over oiled green cotton filter may damage the MAF, not the end of the world really. a non-oiled pipercross wont damage the MAF but will it trap all the tiny dust particles??

are there any standards for air filters with regard to particle size filtration?
