Petrol Cap HELP

Hi there.

I have had my Leon for just 2 weeks now and love it!

I have noticed this week though that the petrol cap doesnt lock. I.e. ANYONE can gain access to remove (steal!) my fuel or worse put something else in!? i dont like the idea of this.

Does anyone know if i can get a locking petrol cap? have been lookin at a few on ebay but wondered if anyone else had done this?

check with the car locked, ive got a TDI but i would think the petrol locking system will be the same.

If the car is locked, or just the drivers door is unlocked (one push of the keyfob) then the fuel flap should also be locked as its on the central locking system too.

it seems that even if the car is fully locked up then the flap and cap are still at access to anyone

Yep. It should lock with central locking.

Just walked past mine and the flap was locked.

I would nip by the dealer and just ask who you bought it from. I had a problem with the boot not unlocking, turned out i needed to hold the button down.

hey its sorted.

Think i was pressing the remote button an extra time which was unlocking it!
