petrol cap wont shut!

my petrol cap wont shut...basically you push it in and it springs back out!

anyone else experienced this? its v.annoying!

its an electronic release version if that makes any difference!

You need a new solenoid by the sounds of it.

The solenoid won't cost that much and look at the link above and have a go yourself. Must take less than 1 hour of your time and only involves removing a bit of boot trim etc...

No i haven't got that just call a dealer or ask one on here that support the forum, it's a common problem.
