phillips head light bulbs

Hi has anyone fitted phillips head light bulbs to there lcr.If so are the good.Have heard people saying there just as good as hids but im not so sure,Any help on this would be good.

ive had phillips in my tdi and there nt that good at all considering how much they cost. ive gt these at the moment

in all front lights ecpt side light which are led's
i think they look crisper and give better light

I would save the £30 you're just about to spend on bulbs and buy a HID kit. These come as cheap as £40 from Ebay and the difference between Halogen & HID is night and day, it really can't be replicated. You won't regret it and installation is so simple.
