Parts not in yet so will give it till the end of the week. Will let seat uk know so they can see if the car was handled by any dodgy workers.

Update

Still no news from the dealer. Advised they are still waiting for parts. Been looking on the seat website and wondered if these features should be on mine...

driver and passenger seatbelt reminder - Only Driver
volumetric alarm - Not tested
anti squeeze front windows - Not tested
storage box under front seat - Not checked
pocket on passengers' backrest - Definately not present on mine.

anyone else have this on an 07 cupra?

The passenger reminder is what I am most interested in. The wife sometimes doesn't put the belt on and I get the right hump when she doesn't.

The seat belt warning, should both come on the 2005 Stlyance model? I have no warnings for driver or passengar

driver and passenger seatbelt reminder - Only Driver - IIRC Should be on both
volumetric alarm - Not tested - test - should be there though
anti squeeze front windows - Not tested - test - should be there though

I took all this straight off the seat site but they did say this was for the 2008 models only. Check it out if you can.

my my08;
alarm and windows ok
no under seat storage (either side)
no seat back map pockets.
unsure of passenger seatbelt warning (will try tomorrow)

If it makes you feel any better -

anti squeeze windows - pain in neck, keep going all way down or up when you only want them down a little.

back seat map pocket - its ok but could live without.

under seat storage passanger side - waste of space, its so small you cant even fit a standard cd holder. useful for carrying a packet of polos and thats about it.

passenger seat belt warning - waste of time, driving home with egg fried rice and chicken curry strapped in just to give my ears peace. When you have to belt up your takeaway then thats taking saftey a bit to far :(

Actually - you are 100% right.

3 or 4 times i've had to have a go at doing up the window as its gone down instead of up due to bumps / wind whatever.

map book does fit in the pocket, but now has stretched the pocket and it looks horrible now (wish i hadn't used it)

seat belt warning - omg your so right, add to that a bottle of water, or anything else with a slight bit of weight, if it dont go off with it on the seat it will when you brake hard.... grrr. *ding*grrr *ding*

under seat is useless and goes un-used

AL2007, if you have this then this assuming you have the stylance as per the sig, then my 07 cupra should have it. Looks like a sensor is missing then. Thanks for the response guys.

i use the under storage, i have a pocket knife a roll of duct tape 2 pen 1 pencil a flash light and my digital camera and there is more space for stuff

the map pocket is so hard i dont use it

and the pasanger belt reminder is a pain yes i hate it

No, I have a referance sport, I was told it was special edition and spec was in between a referance and a stylance so I cant comment whether the standard 07 referance comes with same spec but I assume so as was told the only extras the stylance has over standard ref is climate control, auto park side mirrors and trip comp.

I test drove a standard referance 1.9diesel and that had the same spec.

It's amazing what you need to belt up these days :doh:

My passenger belt warning thing doesn't make a peep unless there's actually a person sat in it. I've had about 8 litres of water/heavy bag (well about 15kg) sat on there and not a sausage.

Works fine when there's someone sat in it, and goes off (i.e. shuts the hell up) when said person puts their belt on.

However, I don't have a map pocket on either seat, which is an outrage and I will demand a new car. ;)
