To be fair, the Hampton Court branch has to deal with clients who are not exactly short of a few bob.

Well they should have one damn good customer service record as getting someone to buy a seat and not a merc would be hard enough, never ming keeping them so that they buy another.

Check out the reviews on this site with regards to service. They are not a pretencious (might not be spelt correctly) bunch and are very down to earth. They seem to come up quite well when members have taken their cars in for a service or a warranty issue.

Well I haven't even been into the garage yet, bought the car over the phone and e-mail, the woman seem nice enough. Hope evryones opinions are right as I haven't even had a test drive, probably a mistake but haven't seen one bad performance review.

You are brave to buy without a test drive first. Regardless of the dealer you are purchasing from. Did you have no experience in the car before forking out the 16k odd for it?

Yeah exatly, I've sat in one et the motor show but that's as far as it goes, I'm sure I won't be dissapointed though.
This is also my first time driving a RHD, always had LHD up till now as I lived in France, I will have a very high blood pressure when driving that off the forecourt into London traffic on saturday, I tell you that for sure.

So the work is being carried out now and they are doing the interior trim as I type. Been told that the Cupra does not have the passenger seat belt warning light on it at all. Can you guys please let me know if your MY07 Cupras have this or not? I know Chris said his curry has to be strapped in so if anyone else has or has not got this feature. Can you put it onto this thread?

at last, lets hope they dont damege the new one while swapping them over .

my my08 definitely does NOT have the spouses seat belt warning. cant speak for my07 tho.

are you sorted once todays visit is completed?

All is cool once that is done. They will WD40 the driver side mirror and refix the driver side rear kickplate as well whilst it is in.

I take it your mirror squeaks rather loadly when folding too then...

Starting to but figured they had better grease it up a bit before damage is done.

Mine has done since day one, I guess I should have pointed it out when the saleswoman was showing me the controls.

ours same also squeaking since day 1 but can never find one of them red 'straws' that come with the wd40 when u need one!!!

My 55 sport had a squeeky mirror for a few days and then froze the motor with the mirror in the raised position. Dealer sorted it with a new unit.

i like the mirror squeek becuase when i walk away and lock car, i know its properly all locked up and tucked away when i hear the squeek you get me?
