I see for some reason someone has merged my new wheel thread with this old thread so the new pics of the new wheels are at the bottom. (Ive now added the new pics at the top)

Well ive had my cupra nearly a month so thought i best get some pics up for you

Its got 18's and Brembos and ive just put it through full service cambelt change and waterpump change.

Got a few plans

Remap and need to get the wheels referbed or changed.

best colour not a fan of the wheels or chrome around the front badge. get it lowered and it'll look lovely mate

Im not 100% decided if i like the crome round the badge and 18" rims defo to much for me on the cupra 17" would be the biggest id go personaly

but as cus said slam it down

oh and colour code the bumpstrips me thinks

Yeah i would prefer 17's on it as think the 18's are abit big myself but i need to find a set that i like that go over the brakes also need to find the money to get some.

I didnt know the chrome wasnt standard around the badge to be honest i will have to look at a pic of some others without it then.

Just had my stage 1 remap

Hi guys

Just had my stage 1 remap on friday and wow what a different car it is.

I got 198.5bhp out of it which im well pleased would have been nice to break 200bhp but that will be done soon with a Miltek downpipe.

So any1 out there still not sure if they should remap or not just go for it

I had it remapped with a very helpful company in the midlands that really knew what they were doing and i would recommend any1 to go there but i dont think im aloud to say who it was on this forum lol

Yeah already got my eye on the miltek downpipe and then maybe thinking KO3s turbo and then the list goes on and on

My words of advice would be think about how much power you want and save for it, i`ve gone from stg1 through to stg3 in steps, its not a cheap way to do things.

If i had to start again i would save and go stright to BT.

My 1st plan was to leave it standard as i only bought the ibiza because it was a nippy car that i wanted to leave as it was as spent far to much money on the astra turbo i had before but that plan went out the window straight away

That said, my Revo stg1 never failed to put a childish grin on my face. Worth every penny

Passed MOT but......need rear shock soon

Hi guys

The cupra went through on MOT today which is great but had an advisory that the passenger rear shock isnt working great and needs replacing soon.

So any1 know the best place to get standard rear shocks and springs?

Im guessing Seat but if there's any company's online that people have used and had great service then please let me know.

New Wheels Fitted pics inside

Hello all

When i bought the Ibiza it had 18inch alloys which i always thought were abit big and they were curbed so always wanted some new ones but had the problem of brembo clearence.

Yesterday i got new wheels and they clear the brembos without any spacers at all on the front.

Ive got coilovers in the front room ready to go on to slam it so will get more pics then.
