not wanting to sound like a knob but not having a turbo befor, what do you need a boost gauge for and is it only worth having on a cupra r?

im not 100 per cent mate i no it looks brill.......fitting it next week with a friend who said i should get one...my first turbo to so im just learning as i go

good diagnostics tool.... you can tell if everything is working well...

Easy way to spot a boost leak, or dying turbo.

i think all turbo cars should be fitted with boost gauges. the boost gauge tell you the pressure value of the turbo and vac, from this you can see if its running properly,also they can show up boost leaks, so for £25 or what ever you spend on a boost gauge it does come in very handy, but more importantly they look cool

I'm contemplating it.

If I would man up and trust my DIY I would definatly do it.

Do you recon a Boost gauge would put off any potential buyer who didn't know what they were for?

not really, i dont think so, and any way its so easy to take off. by the way they are easy to fit , the hardest thing is getting the pipe inside the car, here is guild.
