yeah, I'm just sat there with 2 looms & will probably just plug the lot in - plenty of room now I've punched a hole in the bulkhead for the cables & removed all the sound deadening now :)

The immo wiring is different though... not too hard to fathom I'm sure - I just haven't really thought about it yet

Can't seem to find my ABF's immo.....

Wondering if it can be written out of the code somehow (or if I can work out what pin needs to be held 'high' on the ECU pin out)

OK - I probably will

just traced teh wire, and I think it's sorted that out, just need to work out why it's not firing the starter now (fuel pump's fine, and I can get the starter to go manually)

can't be far off

also - managed to rewire so the windows can go up now :D

As it nears it's 1st anniversary........ I thought I'd do a quick update

I've solved the Immo :D I just need to test it. unwrapped a lot of wire, and I know where I am with it.

No wonder 16vers get asked for an aftermarket immo (equally crap, as I got round that in 3 minutes) - but these are really poor as standard.

I think that it could be started with a paper clip.......

I dont know how you got any pateince with the wiring, just looking at them gave me a headache

& know to upset your neighbours with the noise:)

Wiring is my bread & butter :D it's worse now though as I started splitting it out!

It will be loud with no exhaust system though :D

anyway

thanks to work I've had no time on this

So I thought I'd buy an exhaust, which I'm picking up tomorrow - and I've bought my ECU, loom & a few other toys to get the bugger running :)

Got to build the ECU 1st, which is no bother at all - but well worth the saving in my eyes

which exhaust you gone for mork standard or sports?

Bosal :D - I've spent 2 days not remembering!

Anyway, the place I ordered it from sent it by courier instead of me picking it up (so that saved me £15)

ECU was also sent out today

1 x 12' MegaSquirt Wiring Harness (MS1 / MS2 Ready) (MSHarness12) = $65.00
1 x MegaSquirt-I Programmable EFI System PCB2.2 - UnAssembled Kit (MS122-K) = $134.00
1 x DLP-TXRX Internal USB / Serial Adapter (DLP-TXRX) = $31.00

There's also a standalone display I will buy once it's running, because it's cool :)

Looks like its all coming together nicly Mark, that stand alone display looks very trick! Do you think once you have the aftermarket ECU she should be up and running? Will she be going to the WRC RR day would be very interesting to see and also to make sure all this hard work has paid off!

David.

yeah, the ECU has been the stumbling block for me.

Couple of tyres, MOT & it'll be all OK again

will be run at WRC I'd think - I'll be keen to see how my first attempt at tuning is....

bosal delivered, and the price online has gone up

I've seen tidier exhausts, and better welds, but all this needs to do is pass an MOT
