Ive got the powerflex bushes on mine. You need PFF85-201 (Wishbone Front Bush) and PFF85-204 (Wishbone Rear Bush). Thats all you really need, but if you are going for the ARBs then i would also get PFF85-208 which is the ARB link to wishbone bush.

That should do the trick. If you want some prices then please give us a call. I will do 10% off retail for ya:)

arb's come with the bushes they require yes.

mk3 golf bushes for your wisbones, however I personally am running VT rear front wishbone bush and its much better at the job... compliant in the direction its needs to be, and firm in the other. std front bush if healthy is adequate. poly is ok too.

subframe is hard bolted, cross member is bushed so again there you can go powerflex type bushes (arse of a job mind you)

needless to say, all this kinda stuff also available from me and what my ibiza runs.

Serviced my cupra today and noticed the front wishbone rear bushes are shot, fancy upgrading all the bushes on the front wishbones to powerflex (may aswell replace front bushes while wishbone is off), just a couple of questions though.

Do they make a noticeable difference to the roadhandling and how hard/easy is it to fit them with them being poly bushes?

Any hints tips when fitting poly bushes compared to rubber bushes (are they any different)? have access to a press at work.

Bill and tts roadsport could you pm me a price for a front wishbone set inc postage please?

just recieved the whole kit for the LCR today bought from german sweedish, its cheaper if you buy all at once too, the guy said powerflex were good, he used to have the red ones in and they were like concrete, he said you will deffo notice the difference.

new bushes pop straight in no need for presses etc, you get some greese to stop the squeeking aswel

I have got all my bushes on the front by powerflex. I did notice a difference but some of my original bushes were shot.
My powerflex ARB links only lasted 2 months though before one of the welds failed due to fatigue stress, and this is with standard suspension and wheels.
I have now fitted normal rubber bushed ARB links so hopefully these will last longer than 2 months! The rubber ones have a little more give and should last longer, but the roads around here are really rough.

Bill, why are the front cross member bushes an arse on to do? Is it just because bumper has to come off, etc... or is it a case of the bushes been a pain.

Exactly what uprated mount set up do you run on your car, if you don't mind giving those details out?? i.e manufacturers, which ones, etc?

in situ was a right royal pain in the neck... pressing them in where they dont want to squeaze thru the holes...

i run VT mounts all round (race), VT rear wishbone bush mount, powerflex crossmember bush(s)

all of them available from badger 5 ;)

You running standard front wishbone bushes or powerflex?

like it says in the txt, VT all round on mine. previously poly bushes.
i have retained oe front wishbone bush and used a VT rear on new setup.

more expensive way of doing it tho.

how expensive is a more expensive way of doing it bill.

like £85+vat for rear pair plays ~£34 for polys

VT's are metal-elastic bushes comprising bonded rubber and concentric steel rings. gives more up down non binding movement than a poly, but minimal fore-aft movement. Std rubber front bush does its job well enough for me if new or in good condition.
