Prices paid for older Mk4 TDI Sports ?

Hello all

Just wondering what sort of prices people have paid recently for older (2002/2003) TDI 130 Sports, and what mileages they were on ?

Might be buying my old one back, just want to see what the going rates are - as price guides don't always reflect current going rates in my experience.

Might be of help (probably not though ) mine was £8500 with 8,000 miles, 03 plate almost 3 years ago.

Anything from £5 - 8k depending on mileage and condition?

Found them with 100k on the clock between £4000 and £5500 when i was looking for one, high milages put me off and less sporty looks.

But being as your looking at buying your old one back it'll look how you want it too

Thats his old one - the one he's looking at buying back! I hope mines worth that when its that age and mileage!

mines a 2003 reg had 42000 on the clock and i paid 7k

I think I paid just under 8k for my 53 plate in December 2006. And it had 12,500 miles on the clock! Now it's got 27,000!

I paid £3900 for my 52 plate with 82k back in August 05, but it did need some work and I think I had some good luck!

That was an amazing price considering it was only 3 years old when you bought it.

Definately not mate - I love my motor but for that price at that age I'd be buying something else!

I paid £6700 for mine about august time. its one of the last 130 sports made as well i believe. 04 plates with 18k on the clock.

That was an amazing price considering it was only 3 years old when you bought it.

It had a hard life, it was previously owned by an IAM driving instructor for lessons, put through car washes all its life and it had been in a smack at some point. That said, I would probably still get what I paid for it if I kept it, and with my low miles, it probably would've been on 95k by now!

I bought mine 6 months ago - 53 plate Tdi 130 - 23,000 on clock for £6,000

I got mines December last year, PD130, FSSH, 46K and a Six-month warranty for £6,500. (Thats a 2003 52-reg).

Got to remember also muddyboots - yours is a real good spec compared to the average Sport!

I got mine 3 weeks ago for 5k 52 plate but he says it's an 03? It has 76k on the clock.
