Fitted my fk silverline x coilover kit today and for sum reason the rear is the same hight as it was with my koni kit on! They are down as low as they will go. Any ideas or some advice cheers

its low at the front with about 6 threads let at the bottom and the rears are wound down as far as they go and its the same as when i had the 30mm drop on the rear sits really arse end up. You've got fk's on yours haven't u

If there coilovers then i would have thought it would sit on its asre if you wanted it too.

My Fk Highsports did straight away and had to wind them back up, loads of thread left now for more lowering.

Try get pics up

dID IT SIT STRAIGHT ON ITS ARSE AS SOON AS U LOWERED THE JACK DOWN? See i'm a bit worried cause it looks like it should sit down but think they may have been supplied with the wrong spings. Humm well i can't get no pics tonight as its at work in my garage but i would say full wound down theres a 30mm gap between arch and tyre same as when i had my koni str8 kit on there

Yes, put it this way, right now its probably a -50/60mm drop all round and has plenty thread left to go lower.

My rear tyres sit just about arch level maybe lower cause i dont think i can even get a finger on top of the rear tyre

They do settle after a week or two but not that much, so defo check them out.

Could be springs:confused:

yea i think the rear springs are wrong they are basicly the same kit as what u have but the koni dampers and stainles. Humm wish 1 thing would of gone right bloody cars been a knightmere this week

Yeah ave got fk's and mines sat down low when i 1st fitted them.

Right mate, just went an had a double check with mine and i could look straight through my alloys (17's) and could see a GOOD 3inch's left of threads. So i could defo get mine on it ARSE right now.

So if both your sides are wound down to the last thread then somethings up.

As i said i could see threads though my alloys easily.

Mines about the same as smoki`s now ive finished lowering it, I assume you are adjusting the rears together? not jacking up one side, lowering then then jacking up and adjusting the otherside as this will cause it to twist. Also are you sure the mounts are located properly?

I had a simlar problem when i first fitted mine, so i jacked it up from the rear beam and done both at the same time and its been fine ever since.
